| Who We Are
The Family Support Agency is a professional organization which goal is to work closely with social workers to provide the required services necessary for successful family reunification.
Services Provided
The Family Support Agency offers several services to meet the needs of our clients:
Parent/Child Visitation Supervision
- One staff to one family ratio
- Line of sight/line of hearing
- Visits offered in our office, in the home or in the community
- Clean, comfortable visitation rooms
Sibling Visitation
- Child-centered activities – staff will plan activities according to the interests of the children.
- We will offer supervised fun and safe environments for the children to interact with each other
Transportation
- Safe, reliable transportation for our clients
- Transportation all over the Region 1 area
Parent Education
- All curriculum is pre-approved by DCFS
- Taught or directly supervised by MA or MS level or higher staff
- Class-setting: staff and parent(s) discuss parenting skills, techniques
- Field-setting: staff makes comments and/or suggestions to parents while they are interacting with their children
Assessment & Counseling
We provide evaluations and counseling by professionals at the graduate or higher levels in Clinical Psychology with WA State Registered/Licensed Counselor credentials. For social workers, we provide clear and detailed monthly progress reports to help with evaluations.
Service Availability
It is the goal of the Family Support Agency to be available at any time to provide services for our clients. The following are our normal hours of operation. Emergency 24 hour services may be available in some areas. Please contact the local office for information.

Qualified Staff
The Family Support Agency is committed to providing optimum service to its clients by highly qualified staff who are continually training. All personnel will meet or exceed the standards set forth by the Department of Social and Health Services at the time of providing services. All services are being provided or directly supervised by staff that hold Graduate level degrees in various areas of psychology, education or social work.
Professionalism
Offices
Our offices are set up professionally to separate the daily operation from the visitation and counseling rooms. This allows for greater efficiency and production to provide better services to social workers and clients. Each office is locally managed by a qualified professional. The Family Support Agency is a member of the Supervised Visitation Directory and has applied to the Better Business Bureau.
The Family Support Agency uses CATS (Child Access Tracking System) to schedule, track and log visitations and transportations. All information is securely encrypted.
Confidentiality
Client and staff confidentiality is of the utmost importance for the Family Support Agency. All client files are kept in a locked cabinet in a locked room and information is only released on a need-to-know basis. Staff information is not shared with clients and client information is not shared.
Compassion
Though we maintain strict levels of professionalism, our staff is comprised of caring individuals who have an interest in seeing the youth and families in our communities succeed.
Expansion of Services and Locations
The Family Support Agency has plans to offer additional services such as Family Preservation Services, Chemical Dependency Counseling & Financial Education in the near future.
The Family Support Agency has plans to develop its services in several key locations in Region 1. Beyond Region 1, we plan to expand to the remaining regions in Washington State. We also have projected plans to contract with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.
This is to inform you of these business plans for three important reasons:
1) We want you to be aware of our commitment to our clients as we grow
2) As we expand, we can provide services to all partnering Regions
3) We are committed to being a reliable service provider for a long time
$20.00 – 30.00/hr (depending on location) plus $.50/mile. We also provide Parent Education, Assessments & Counseling at very affordable rates. |
