| The Family Visitation Program provides supervised visits and safe exchange services for families with a history of domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health concerns or high conflict custody disputes.
We provide a safe and comfortable place for parents and children to build positive relationships.
Clients are referred via the court system, the Department of Social Services, therapist referral, and family mediation. For safe exchange services, if both parents are in agreement to use services, verbal agreement can also be accepted.
Supervised visits and safe exchanges take place between 2pm and 7:30pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and on Fridays between 2pm and 5:30pm. Safe exchanges also take place on Sundays between 4:30 and 5:30pm. Families must complete an intake appointment to reserve a time.
All parties must complete and intake appointment before using visit or exchange services. Parties may call (828) 251-6089 x420 to schedule an intake appointment. Services are not available on a "last minute" basis.
