| Vists and exchanges for children of divorced and separated families. There are times when it is not possible for a parent or relative to visit a child without supervision. Glengarda Child & Family Services works in partnership with the Ministry of the Attorney General, Parents and other community providers to offer supportive programming to children and families in Windsor/Essex and Chatham/Kent.
The primary purpose of the Supervised Access Program is to facilitate and supervise visits and exchanges between children and their non-custodial parents. Glengarda offers supervised visits and exchanges in Essex and Kent counties. In Essex, we have two sites, one in Windsor and one in Leamington. In Kent, we have four sites, one in Chatham, Tilbury, Wallaceburg and Blenheim. Visits are conducted within a group environment. Nominal fees are associated with this program. A sliding fee scale is available. French language services are available. |
