| Supervised visitation is available 7 days a week in Mobile on a sliding fee scale basis ($30-$60/hour). Visitation is offered in Daphne 7 days a week for the same fee. Skype visits are also available.
Court reports and testimony are available for nominal fees with monitored exchanged offered when supervised visits are no longer needed. The Family Center has offered visitation since 2002. We accept cases via court orders, or without if both parties agree to them.
Our professional staff consists of counselors and social workers who are highly trained to help children feel comfortable during visitation, and to intervene when necessary on their behalf. For more information about our services, contact Director Lydia Pettijohn.
Two play rooms are available and designed for different age children with a myriad of entertaining activities and equipment. Each family has a room to itself. The center offers a sliding fee scale of $30 to $60 an hour on weekends.
Available seven days a week in Mobile and Daphne, weekends in Chatom, Washington County. Holidays visits available with two weeks notice. Off-site visits can be arranged in special circumstances, but most visits are done in our offices. Visit supervisors will prevent parents from having any contact unless they wish to. This program is funded by the Children's Trust Fund of Alabama and the Administrative Office of Courts Access and Visitation Program. Reports and court testimony are available for nominal fees.
The Family Center of Mobile is a private not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation chartered in 1991 with the support of the Mobile Exchange Club and Parents Anonymous. The Family Center has earned the AAA accreditation from the National Exchange Club Foundation in Toledo for its programs and management. |
