| Center for Family Relations offers the following services: Supervised Visitation, Therapeutic Visitation, Monitored Exchanges, Counseling, Divorce Groups and Parenting Education.
We are located in a three-story, historic home; which creates a nurturing, and more natural, environment for families to visit. In addition to the child-friendly activities available, we have a playground and fully functional kitchen that families may utilize during their visits. We also offer off-site visitation services.
For on-site supervised visitation the child and parent will conduct their visit on our premises in a nurturing environment. We have many games, puzzles, arts and crafts, books, as well as an on-site playground that both parent and child may enjoy together.
We also have a wide assortment of child-friendly videos that parent and child may view together. They may also bake or cook food as we have an oven to do so. Parents may also bring home-cooked food that they may heat up in the microwave or oven.
For off-site supervised visitation, parent and child leave our premises. However, off-site supervision is done after an evaluation of on-site visitation reports. On off-site visits parent and child may be able to do things such as go to the park, zoo or museum.
They will be accompanied by a supervisor from Center for Family Relations that will be with the child and parent at all times. The supervised parent must pay for all costs for the supervisor during these off-site visits.
It is important to note that Center for Family Relations personnel will not allow a child to ride in a vehicle unless that vehicle is currently insured and the driver of the vehicle must have a valid license. Children under the age of 12 must ride in the backseat and all occupants of the vehicle must wear a seat belt according to Texas State Law. |
