| The Visitation Program provides services to children who are in foster care or are at risk for out-of-home placement. The program offers a safe, family friendly environment for those parent(s) and their children who have been ordered by the court to have supervised visits. It also allows flexible visitation times, including evening hours, at geographically convenient locations. Families involved with the Dependency Court of Hillsborough County are eligible for these services, which are provided by multiple social service agencies.
The Visitation Program is part of the new child welfare privatization effort for Hillsborough County called Hillsborough Kids Inc. It is a collaborative effort among the Child Abuse Council, Hillsborough Kids Inc., the Department of Children and Families, the Children's Justice Center, and the 13th Judicial Court. |
