| Off-Site Visitations Supervised visitation is when contact between a non-custodial parent and one or more children in the presence of a third person (visitation monitor) who is responsible for observing and seeking to ensure the safety of those involved.
My goal is to maintain the safety of your child(ren)while promoting a stress-free and enjoyable interaction with the visit of the supervised parent. Custody Exchange Monitoring This service allows the custodial parent to take a child to a pre-arranged, safe and neutral location. The non-custodial parent can then pick up their child and return him/her to the same location once the visit is over.
The pickup times are staggered if necessary, so that the parents do not have to be in contact with each other.
EXPERIENCE
I worked closely for eight years with Jayne A. Major, Ph.D., renowned parent educator with specialty in Parental Alienation and Parental Alienation Syndrome. I also held a position with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts grant program for abused and neglected children and have experience working with deaf-blind teenagers at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Massachusetts.
QUALIFICATIONS
I am trained and compliant with Standard 5.20 of the California Standards of Judicial Administration. Standard 5.20 defines the standards of practice for all providers of supervised visitation within the state of California, under Family Code section 3200.
The goal of the standards is to assure the safety and welfare of those involved in the visitation process (parents, children and providers); after safety is assured the paramount consideration is for the best interest of the child.
I received clearance from the FBI criminal record check and am registered with TrustLine (www.trustline.org), fingerprinted and cleared. I have further training in Mandated Reporting Responding to Suspected Child Sexual Abuse: Pre-K through College.
I look forward to working with you in hopes of promoting a healthy relationship between both parents − which makes for a happy, well adjusted child. |
