| Children's Safe Harbor, located inside Patriots’ Gateway Community Center, provides a neutral place for families to use when exchanging children for parenting time. The visitation exchange site offers safety and manages potential conflict when parents are exchanging their children for court ordered visitation.
The mission of the Children’s Safe Harbor is to provide children safe and conflict free access to both parents in a safe environment. It is a goal of the center to help establish, maintain and enhance familial relationships, which focus on the needs of the child, for those who may be experiencing difficulties due to divorce, separation or family violence.
The highest priority of Children's Safe Harbor is the child’s safety and well being. Parents interested in participating in the program must be ordered by the court and must complete an intake with Children's Safe Harbor staff before beginning services. There are no fees for utilizing Children's Safe Harbor.
Children's Safe Harbor is open for visitation exchanges:
• Wednesdays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Fridays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Saturdays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Sundays: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
