| Mark McCoy is Safe Watch Monitored Visits, providing safe professional court ordered child visitation supervision for non-custodial parents. It is our duty to help parents and children to stay connected and united, even if they are living separately.
Our mission is to provide a protected, neutral and relaxed environment for the child(ren) to spend pressure free time with their absent parent. Our goal for both parents is to maintain a positive relationship with their child(ren).
Background
Mark is completing BS degree in psychology college graduate with 3+ years experience as a licensed foster parent. He has over 15 years experience working with children of all ages, and 5 experience as a security manager, and 3 years of monitored visit experience.
Marks love for children and desire to help facilitate what is in their best interest is enhanced by the following qualifications:
Mark has been a licensed foster parent for 3+ years with over 18 children being placed in his home.
A personal fitness trainer for youth and college athletes.
A volunteer youth worker assisting at camps, campuses, churches, teams and sporting events for over 10 years.
Taught leadership and character building classes for youth and adults of all ages.
Army Veteran, honorable discharged, were integrity and trustworthiness is his focus.
His maturity and life experience will help you feel comfortable putting your child(ren) in his care.
Mark's desire to help families lead him to become a trained Professional Supervised Child Visitation Provider offering off-site supervised monitored visitations and "exchange-only" services under California Rules of Court, Standard 5.20. He complies with the California Rules of Court 5.20 and Family Code 3200.5, serving Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, San Bernardino and Orange County.
Pursuant to Family Code Section 3200.5(d)(1), Mark McCoy has received 24 hours of training that includes training in the following areas:
Role of a professional provider.
Child abuse reporting laws.
Record keeping procedures.
Screening, monitoring and termination of visitation.
Developmental needs of children.
Legal responsibilities and obligations of a provider.
Cultural sensitivity.
Conflicts of interest.
Confidentiality.
Issues related to substance abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Basic Knowledge of Family and Juvenile law. |
