| Our purpose at Angel’s Harbor is to encourage children and offer the best opportunity possible in a safe environment. We speak from experience when we say we've been through what some of these children are going through and desire the need to help.
After working with families in the social service field, we noticed an incline in referrals to Child Protective Services and court-ordered supervised visitations due to physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect of a child. Houston is one of the largest cities in the United States, yet there are not enough resources for families to get the service they need.
Our passion through Angel’s Harbor is to provide the service of supervised visitations and be a part of interrupting the cycle of abuse as well. We firmly believe that relationships damaged by violence are repairable, and parents can be helped to achieve constructive and healthy relationships with their children.
