| 2nd Chances Monitoring specializes in high conflict cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, mental illness, physical and sexual abuse.
All services are non-biased, protective, and child-centered. The custodial parent can be assured that their child(ren) are in safe hands while visiting the other parent.
The non-custodial parent is assured that they will experience judgement-free visitation supervision with a non-biased report of activities and interactions between parent and child.
We offer a safe and neutral environment to help children reconnect with their parents and advocate the children's safety even during high-risk circumstances.
These may arise from the family's broken relationships and turmoil caused by separation, divorce, or an environment where neglect, abuse, or violence may be prevalent.
The complete and total commitment by all parties to the success of the supervised visitations is vital at every stage. Your children's safety is our top priority!
We are also experienced in working with special needs children. Please don't hesitate to ask how we can accommodate these needs.
All of our Child Monitors have completed the required & professional training with the State of California Uniform standards of Practice 5.20 and Assembly Bill 1674 including: concepts of supervised visitation, family dynamics, child development, domestic violence, child abuse, standards of practice, documentation, laws and penal codes.
In addition, all monitors have received training specifically in child abuse identification, child abuse reporting, and are Mandated Reporters in accordance with Penal Code Section 11165.7
Monitors have also completed background checks in accordance with the requirements of the State of California guidelines and are registered and certified with TrustLine.
All Monitors are child and adult CPR and First Aid trained and certified. |
