Mediation services, to determine and develop guidelines for visitation and alternative custody arrangements; to intervene between conflicting parents to promote compromise and help resolve custody and visitation issues between parents of minor children.

The mediation is facilitated by an attorney trained in mediation. MSW Interns may also assist. Both voluntary and court mandated referrals accepted. An attorney is available to draft mediation agreements for unrepresented parties.

Co-Parenting Plan Development:
Assistance to parents in developing individualized well thought out parenting plans for parents of minor children aimed at reducing parental conflict and promoting contact between children and both parents or custodians that will serve the childrens best interests. This includes addressing custody, care and visitation and related issues that are not being formally litigated or mediated.

Parent Education:
Provide individualized, developmentally appropriate parent education for parents/caregivers of minor children aimed at reducing caregiver conflicts and promoting contact with children to assist with developing well thought out parenting plans or mediation agreements that will serve the child(ren)s best interests as they relate to custody, visitation, and co-parenting issues.

Neutral Visitation Exchanges: We provide a safe, neutral environment for the exchange of a child for visitations to allows noncustodial parents access to and visitation with their child(ren), which may otherwise not be available, and to help manage high conflict, strengthen relationships and increase parenting time.

Supervised Visitation: We provide monitored or supervised visitation services when needed to ensure the safety and well-being of a child to allow for a noncustodial parent access to and visitation with their child(ren) as a means to strengthen those relationships and increase parenting time.

We also offer families the opportunity to request a restorative circle process in appropriate situations (if participants are able to travel to our office in Laramie). The process is most appropriate when there is a need to repair harm and reestablish healthy relationships to benefit children. Restorative Circles can result in improved communication and relations among families in conflict. The circle process values our interconnectedness and that families benefit most by resolving conflicts.
